Event List Updated for 2010

All,

I have just updated the event list to include outline details of SOC events to the end of July 2010.

This includes details of the events in the new Summer Series - more details of this coming soon.

Please update your calendars and consider whether you can act as Organiser/Planner for any of these events.

I am working to complete a revised guide to putting on a Local event and hope to post it soon.

Travel Directions

Shawford Down is between Winchester and Eastleigh, close to junction 11 off the M3. Car parking is at grid reference 472 249 just off the road which runs between Shawford and Twyford and is best found by looking for signs for Shawford Station which is two minutes walk from the car park. Shawford Station is on the main line between Southampton and London. 

Courses

There will be three courses:

  • Yellow 1.8km - Easy with controls on paths
  • Orange 2.5km - Moderate with controls either on or close to paths
  • Light Green 3.3km - Greater difficulty
