Many thanks to all those who came along to the event yesterday in the blistering heat. There was a great mix of experienced and enthusiastic new orienteers in attendance.
It was a little busier than anticipated so apologies for any queues you encountered while we got ourselves sorted.
As always thanks to those SOC members who helped on the day. To Steve and Alastair for computing, Wing and Norman for standing in the full sun (for 1.5 hours) managing the start. To Rachel for her coaching of new orienteers and the control placing and collecting team – Matthew, Lisa, Paul, Ian and Chris.
Thanks to Eastleigh BC for allowing us to use Fleming Park for the event and finally, to Tim the planner for a great variety of courses.
