Event MapPlease join us for the Caddihoe Chase on the weekend of 28/29 September.

It's being held on Dartmoor - a bit south of Princetown, which is where SOC will be based and there is a choice of accommodation. Book your own accommodation and entries are now open on Fabian 4.

We have a table reserved for dinner at the Plume of Feathers in Princetown on the Saturday night at 7.00. All welcome. I'll collect numbers nearer the time.

Tuesday Night Runs

Profile picture for user Dave Currie
By Dave Currie , 28 July, 2019

On the basis of better late than never, this is my annual reminder that there's a group of runners (orienteers and others) who head out to the New Forest every Tuesday evening during the summer months for an hour's run. The venue rotates from one month to the next so we have one more Tuesday at Godshill before selecting our venue for next month. The pace is that of the slowest but is generally around 8.5-9 min/mile and the route is on and off forest paths. Somehow there's always a pub conviently located for post-run refreshment. If you're interested, drop me an soc [at] david.currie.name (email).
