SOC Success at this weekend's Caddihoe Chase

Profile picture for user Ian Moran
By Ian Moran , 29 September, 2019

Rob Finch came home in first place at this weekend’s Caddihoe Chase event held at Burrator on Dartmoor in Devon. The Caddihoe Chase is a two-day event where competitors’ start times on day two are calculated from their total time on day 2 and added to a base start time, which makes for an exciting competition on day two, with runners often starting close on the heels of their rivals. Rob led his class after day one and managed to hold on to his lead to win on day 2.

September Runs

Profile picture for user Dave Currie
By Dave Currie , 17 September, 2019

On the basis of better late than never, a notification that Tuesday night runs for September have moved to Rufus Stone. A venue carefully chosen so that, as the evenings draw in, we can still start at 6:30pm and make the most of any available light by finishing runs across the open plain. If you're interested in running and are not already on the mailing list, soc [at] david.currie.name (let me know).
