Anyone who is acting as a planner, organiser, controller at an event, or running a coaching session for a club (unless they are a licenced coach) needs to have attended an event safety workshop which is required in order for them to be covered by the BOF insurance. SCOA is planning to hold another workshop during the next few months. If you are keen to attend the next workshop, which will be held on Saturday 7th September, close to Reading and will last about four hours, do let me know. Ian Moran (ian_moran(at)btinternet.com).
