New to orienteering?

Check out our Getting Started guide for an introduction to the sport. Then learn more about the club, what it has to offer, particularly for juniors, and how to become a member. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us.

The club previously used a Yahoo! based group to send e-mails to club members. In future, if you wish to receive e-mails relating to SOC activities then you must be a registered user of the club website. Anyone (members and non-members) can register here.

Jes Dickin is looking for helpers for the Colour Coded event at QECP on 13th December. It is a SCOA League event with a full range of courses (old C4 / District event) so we will need helpers for car parking, registration, results etc etc. Usual shift pattern so everybody gets a run.

I am also in need of volunteers to take on the string course and provide first aid cover for the event.

The good news is that as always all helpers get a ½ price run.

You can contact Jes by clickin on his Name above and then select Contact. Please feel free to volunteer for whatever you are happy to take on, early or late preferences will hopefully be accommodated too. First come first serve on the “best” jobs!!!
