An email has been sent out to all members today to remind them of the arrangements for the AGM on the 29 March 2019. The email includes a number of documents which will be referred to on the evening.

Some emails were not able to be delivered as the addresses did not exist or the addresses provided were unable to receive emails from me.

If you have not received your email and you would like a copy of the documents please contact secretary [at] socweb.org (secretary[at]socweb[dot]org) with updated contact details and I will forward the information to you.

Summer Series - Organisers and Planners Urgently Required!

Profile picture for user Terry Sankey
By Terry Sankey , 10 March, 2019

We have 3 Wessex Region Summer Series events coming up which desperately require Organisers and Planners - see Events/Fixtures for details. They each consist of a score competition with an easy, yellow standard course for beginners/juniors.

There are also some vacancies for officials for forest events later in the year. Please have look and consider what you can do. Without Organisers and Planners these events cannot be staged.

Anybody who hasn't organised an event before and would like to try their hand will be assigned a mentor to advise where necessary.

Organisers and Planners will also benefit by getting a free run at one of the club's future level D events.

Please reply to terry[dot]sankey[at]ntlworld[dot]com

Thanks

Terry Sankey (Fixtures Sec.)

Relay events 2019

I will need to confirm teams/entries for the JK Relays very soon. Can you confirm your availability, sending your BOF number and Emit number if you have one.

I also need to look at entries for the BOC, which are in Yorkshire on the early May Bank holiday weekend. For this I need SI numbers!

SOC pays half of any entry fees.

If you could let me have the information as soon as possible.

Thank you.
