Sprint training opportunity this Thursday 11th April

Profile picture for user Colin Hicks
By Colin Hicks , 8 April, 2019

I am happy to re-run the sprint training from the Platform Tavern. With the JK sprint coming up sharpen up those skills of quick thinking about route choice and execution. Email me colin.soc.hicks(at)gmail.com if you intend coming. Upwards of 6 people will make it worthwhile. Sorry this hasn't been posted earlier, but there were website problems over the weekend. There are 8 possible loops so even if you have run some of them before, they can be run in the opposite direction, which effectively makes it a new loop. Training is free to members £1 to non members.

Club Treasurer

Profile picture for user Pete Davis
By Pete Davis , 25 March, 2019

After three year's in post I have to stand down as club treasurer at this year's AGM. The bank accounts are now fully online and easy to manage. The club accounts are maintained in a super spreadsheet that produces the profit and loss report and balance sheet and provides checks and balances as transactions are added. Caroline Moran is nominated to continue as Club Auditor so there is good support.   If you are interested in taking on the role or would like some more information before making a decision please contact me. peterjdavis [at] gmail.com (peterjdavis[at]gmail[dot]com)

Many thanks

Pete

JK 2019 - volunteers needed!

By Vicki Barkaway , 22 March, 2019

We are still looking for volunteers! If you are competing on Day 3 at Cold Ash, would you consider stopping off at Minley to help put up the tents ready for the relays on Day 4? Start time about 4 p.m. and if there are enough people we should finish about 6.

If  you can help please e-mail me on

vickybarkaway [at] gmail.com (vickybarkaway[at]gmail[dot]com)

Thank you!
