This year's Summer Series got off to a fairly un-summery start. It was quite a cold day with a few spits and spots of rain as the early runners went out. Later on the rain became quite steady. Olwen Rowlands planned some good courses for us and coped well with the Easter Fair still being in place.
It was great to see some of you from last year's Summer Series events joining us again. And we also had a few newcomers - most of them still smiling by the end of their run. We hope you enjoyed your day.
This was also the first run out for the new Club computer. A few glitches early on were quickly corrected. Some lessons were learned and will be taken on to our next event.
Well done to all competitors and a big thank you to the organisers and helpers.
