A big thank you to every…
A big thank you to every one who came along yesterday. A lot of sign ups on the day led to 47 competitors (71 counting all those in family groups). Many new people, so hope the event was fun and interesting, and that you return for another event, and maybe join the club.
Especially, I'd like to congratulate Duncan for his diligent planning, and thanks along with David, and Christine for all the logistics and work on the day at start, finish and beyond. Mark for his mapping. Deb, Di, Terry, Bernie and Mark for volunteer duties: set-up, car parking, assisting novices and experience orienteers, kite collection. Finally thanks to Julian, Colin, Kevin, Helen, David and Di for advice, permissions and coordination to make the event happen in the first place.
