Sign up to Summer Series Stoke Park Woods

Start: Stoke Park Junior School, Bishopstoke, Eastleigh SO50 6GR

This event is designed as an introductory event, and for improvers, but experienced orienteers are very welcome.

Three courses are available: Yellow 2.1k 11 controls, Orange 3.5k 14 controls, 45 minute Score.

Yellow and Orange controls are all in the wood. The score event includes some controls in the urban area.

This event will use the MapRun mobile app for “control punching”, scoring and results.

A big thank you to every one…

A big thank you to every one who came along today. A lot of sign ups on the day led to 47 competitors (71 counting all those in family groups).

Especially, I'd like to congratulate Duncan for his diligent planning, and thanks along with David, and Christine for all the logistics and work on the day at start, finish and beyond. Mark for his mapping. Deb, Di, Terry, Bernie and Mark for volunteer duties: set-up, car parking, assisting novices and experience orienteers, kite collection. Finally thanks to Julian, Colin, Kevin, Helen, David and Di for advice, permissions and coordination to make the event happen in the first place.
