Fleming Park Thursday 30th September 2010

This weeks club night activity will be a map memory exercise. Cost adults £1 juniors 50p. Memorizing parts of a map is a good skill, as it cuts down on time and effort that can be wasted in orienteering competition by continually re-reading the map. So the practice exercise is not to take a map with you! however, relevant pieces of the map are hung at some of the control sites.

The second part of the evening will be held in the upstairs function room, and will be looking at the Caddihoe Chase maps and courses and discussing routes.

Note it is not compulsory to come to the whole evening!
