Comments from Gavin: overall in the Open; Rob is odds on favourite for the win but second and third is still up for grabs. With the Ladies rumour has it Jo won’t be running at the British or Bournemouth so Becca still has a chance given two good runs – no pressure Becca! In the Handicap it looks like Gavin for the win, John Cook for second and Chris for third as John seems to cope better with the forest events. It could all come down to the last race. In the Ladies handicap Becca could still mix things up with Tereza and Jo. Again it could go down to the last race. Mike Frizzell is on course to have competed (or organised) in all 20 races – a brilliant feat Mike.

What other orienteering clubs do you belong to or have you previously belonged to?
Performance-wise, I was very pleased with the British Sprints in 2018 when I finished 7th in the B final (equating to 25th overall). Also really happy with the Lake District Mountain Trial 2019, I've struggled with some fatigue and my fitness levels since last Summer so I was happy to finish 2nd in the medium course (over 4 hours of racing and probably my longest route choice leg yet ~4km).
