A rarity - a MapRun event on a clear, dry evening!
An excellent turn-out of 18 orienteers came out to navigate around the two areas of Badger Farm and Oliver's Battery on the Southern edge of Winchester.
Although the area is a little hilly, it didn't stop a few people belting round the course in impressive time.
A couple of people had some difficulty with the MapRun app being interrupted by the phone lockscreen on Android. Disabling or setting the timeout to maximum for the duration of the activity should help in future.
An enjoyable social followed with a well earned pint or two nearby at The Bell Inn.
