Surveying and Mapping

Profile picture for user Mark Light

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who attended my talk on April 1st about the Farley Mount surveying and mapping process last year.

The presentation can be downloaded here - to provide a little narrative, I've annotated the slides (see View\Notes)

One thing I forgot to stress is that I'm happy to have a go at the preparation of geo-referenced materials (LiDAR data, aerial photos, etc) for your mapping projects.

Secondly, you may have received an email from British Orienteering for a two-part introductory webinar covering mapping and surveying.  If you're interested in finding out more about either of those subjects, I'd recommend you sign up - details and registration links are here.

As a club, we've got plenty of mapping and surveying projects of all sizes - so if you're interested in getting involved, please let us know.
