The organisers of the World Orienteering Championships areĀ still looking for help at the event which is to be held in Scotland between the 31st July and 7th August. The Event will be heldĀ alongside the Scottish Six Days. Help is particularly requiredĀ on the finish, especiallyĀ on Friday 31st July andĀ 1st August, butĀ theĀ organisers couldĀ also use people on other days too; Sunday 2nd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5thĀ and Friday 7th. Jobs range from manually timingĀ and GPS collection, to results display with a number of others jobs in between, but nothing involving IT!
Ā
Some Club members have already volunteered, as have a number of people from the SCOA region. If you are able to help pleaseĀ register on the WOC websiteĀ (http://www.woc2015.org/volunteers/join-the-event-team) andĀ do drop me a lineĀ too.Ā Ā
