After the last two excellent Summer Series venues (Telegraph Wood and Stoke Park Wood) I have been thinking that it would be good to use these venues for informal training sessions.
The plan is to walk / jog round the Light Green courses with the following objectives:
- Become more familiar with the mapped features
- Discuss attack point and route choice strategy
This is aimed at people who are new to orienteering and would also be suitable for anyone who has been doing Orange courses and would like to move up to Light Green.
Proposed Dates, subject to sufficient interest:
Telegraph Wood: Wed 25th July 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm
Stoke Park Woods: Wed 1st Aug 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm
This is not an official club activity, there is no charge.
Juniors can attend, but will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Priority will be given to club members, but non-members can also take part.

If you would like to do this type of activity, but can’t manage these dates, let me know and if there is enough interest we can arrange an additional session.
