Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's November Classic, coping admirably with the change of month! Your continued support is extremely appreciated, and I hope that you had a great day in the forest.
There was a lot of positive feedback about Iain Robinson's courses, which I hope you all enjoyed. A big thank you to Iain, his assistant planner, Bob Norley, and the forest team for all their efforts, particularly over the last two days.
We all know that these events take a lot of volunteer effort, and once again, a host of SOC members stepped up to the mark to deliver a first-class service. We had help from outside of the club as well: thanks to Controller, Charles Daniel BOK, for all his guidance and support over the last few months. Thanks to the jury members, Gordon Parker, Julie Cleary and Ronan Cleary for giving up your time on yet another event! To James Crickmore WSX and Tim Houlder WSX for helping us with their SportIdent expertise - we would really struggle without your help and technical know-how. And thank you to clubs WSX, TVOC and SLOW for the loan of SportIdent kit.
My final thank you is to Julia Loring, Assistant Organiser. Thank you for keeping me on track, remembering all those little details that passed me by, and for your diligence and dedication in running the Event Centre.
