The car park and event centre are at Dibden Inclosure.Grid ref: SU406057. Nearest postcode: SO45 4PR. Signposted from Heath Roundabout. There is a Car parking fee of £1 per car, please have the correct change ready.

Facilities:
There are no facilities at the event. There are toilets nearby at Tesco Applemore (SO45 5JA), where you can also buy other provisions.
Entry: Entry on the day. EMIT timing system. Punching start (turn up and run).

Map:
Scale 1:10,000, 5m contours, surveyed 2008-9, with limited revision 2015. Maps and control descriptions will be printed on A4 waterproof paper.
Blue and Green Light Green maps located at the start. Yellow, Orange and Light Green maps will be distributed at registration, where there will also be an opportunity to discuss your course with a coach. The control descriptions are on loose control descriptions in start lanes.
Terrain:
Typical New Forest terrain of open heathland and runnable woodland. The woodland areas are linked by a network of forest tracks and rides around uncross-able marshes. After rainfall the rides are likely to become very muddy and there are currently many large puddles across tracks.
Start: There is a 450m walk to the start and 200m back from the finish.
Clothing:
Full leg cover must be worn. Full arm cover is recommended. Whistles should be carried. In adverse weather we may ask you to wear a cagoule or similar waterproof top.
Hazards:
Please be aware of the risk of ticks and Lymes disease. The area is frequented by ponies, deer and livestock and the usual precautions to avoid infection apply.
Dogs: Dogs should be kept under control and on a lead when necessary.
