More Relay Opportunities

Wessex Hardy Relays 10th July at Upton Country Park, Poole. SY992928

Teams of 4 for the senior team and 3 runners for junior teams.

 

 

Wimborne Furrow hoppers Relay at Blandford Camp (Note; change of date, now 24th July).

Teams of 5 run several different courses 3 times.

The Furrow Hoppers is great fun!

Anyone interested in running in either of these events should let me know.

Also

Last Chance for SOC to put a team out for the Harvester Relay 16/17th July in Sheffield.  Entries by 26th May or the price goes up considerably. I need you to let me know by Thursday latest. So far we have 2 interested in running, we need 5 minimum.

Results for Summer Series Event 4 - Shawford Down 21st May 2011

Many thanks to Roderick Johnstone for Planning this event. This was Roderick's first time as Planner - judging by your comments after your runs, he did a fine job on small area with limited options.

I'm sure Roderick would like to join me in publicly thanking Ian Moran for his help and guidance and the team of helpers who made the day run so smoothly - we were all done, dusted and away from Shawford by 13.30, a tremendous effort all round.

Thank you all for coming - it really does make it all worth while when our events get such fantastic support.

Club night cancelled - Thursday 26th May 2011

Due to the unavailability of both coaches Kevin (working late) and Colin (injured with sprained ankle), Thursday's club night at Fleming Park has been cancelled.

The next club night will be Thursday 9th June 2011 starting at 6.30pm
