Farley Mount - Results

By Marcus White , 8 September, 2024

My main thanks is to Justin at Forestry England for saving the event at a very late stage. The calm resolve and expertise of SOC officers David, Julian and Pete saw us through when cancellation seemed the easier option.

I am also grateful to SOC volunteers Caroline, Barry, Helen, Eoghan, Alice, Bernie, Kevin, Steve, Natalie, Rachel, Paul and Louise for their valuable work.

Virtual bouquets to Norman and Julia for fun and challenging courses & for many hours working in the woods beforehand.

And finally - virtual prizes to participants for taking the late changes in your stride and braving the thunderstorms. I hope you had as enjoyable a day as I did.
