WESSEX NIGHT LEAGUE EVENT WESTWOOD & NETLEY RESHEDULED

Profile picture for user Colin Hicks
By Colin Hicks , 30 January, 2019

PLEASE NOTE: The event has been cancelled due to the forecast of severe snowy weather. As a lot of competitors travel a long way for the WNL events, we felt it sensible to cancel because the travelling conditions may be compromised and the rough open areas on Westwood are quite exposed, and the urban environment may also be dangerous. We are planning to reschedule the event later in February.

Helpers for Parkhill Event - 9 February 2019

Profile picture for user Julia Loring
By Julia Loring , 27 January, 2019

Thanks to those of you who have already volunteered to help at the event - Norman and I will be in contact shortly about tasks and times.

We still require a few additional helpers as we are having to man a couple of inclosure gates and a few short periods of duty would be better than someone having to cover for a prolonged period.

If you can help please just let me know.

Wessex Night League Netley map notes

Profile picture for user Colin Hicks
By Colin Hicks , 26 January, 2019

Map notes. Two things of note about the map. Firstly it is skewed to 35 degrees in order to get a fit on A3 paper. Secondly, I have used 30% magenta for the settlement areas following comments that the olive green settlement is too dark and easily hides control circles and numbers.See map extract. The blue diagonal line is a magnetic north line so shows the amount that the map is skewed
