Terrain: Suburban housing area, with roads, footpaths, park and wooded areas. Some ground may be soft and slippery.
Map: Conventional Urban Orienteering Map, 1:5000 scale.
Course: 60 Minute Score Event. Control Values totalling 500 points. 30 Controls in total, with values of 10, 20 or 30 points. Penalties for being late, 1 point every 6 seconds.
Safety: Hi Viz tops are required. A good head torch is required. Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Competitors are responsible for their own safety. The roads in this area are generally quiet. Caution and care must be taken when crossing all roads.
