Every orienteering event needs a planner to design the courses, an organiser to bring it all together and a band of willing volunteers to ensure a successful and enjoyable event for all. And of course, we need specialist mappers to survey the event areas and produce the detailed maps that the sport depends on.
Almost all of our club members get involved as officials, volunteers or mappers because it is great fun and very satisfying!
