Today we were off to the sink holes or dolinas as the Hungarians call them. Pits 100m across and 50m deep with numerous pits at the bottom and on the sides. Fast with little undergrowth and good visibility in most places.
Baking sunshine with almost no clouds in sight, and 1.8km and 130m climb to the start!!
In M55 Philip Eeles had a good run after some minor disasters yesterday. He pulled up to 10th with 16 qualifying for the A final.
Tim Sands, powered by some strong black Hungarian coffee, finished 13th in M60 with 14 qualifying for the A Final.
Despite making fewer mistakes than yesterday Philip Cooper dropped to 34th just missing the B Final (15th to 28th qualified), but with the prospect of winning the C Final!!
Unfortunately no action shots today. Final is on Friday then we all head for Budapest and the BudaSprint on Saturday round the Castle Area in the city before heading home late on Saturday.
